What I can build

Websites

I build websites to fit what you need, from simple sites to applications with user accounts and stored data. Where personal information is involved, I build with security and privacy in mind, including GDPR requirements, secure sign-in and protected user data.

Android apps

I build native Android apps using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, with features such as maps, user accounts, secure sign-in, APIs and stored content. I can build everything from a simple standalone app to an app backed by a custom API and database.

Backends and APIs

I build the backend systems that power apps and websites, including REST APIs, authentication, databases and file storage. I’ve worked with Python, Java, C#, C and TypeScript, and can build around databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB and MongoDB.

How a project runs

  1. Talk it through

    We establish what you need, who it's for, and what a strong first version looks like.

  2. Sketch and plan

    I produce Figma prototypes so you have something tangible to respond to.

  3. Build and show

    I build in short stages, sharing progress as the work develops.

  4. Launch

    I take care of deployment, the domain and hosting.

  5. Hand over

    I aim to leave you with something straightforward enough to maintain on your own.
